Description
The BIS™ brain monitoring system comprises three core components designed to deliver safer, more precise, and efficient anesthesia care:
BIS ADVANCE Monitor: a high-resolution, configurable touchscreen device that displays processed values such as BIS™ index, EMG, SQI, suppression ratio (SR), suppression time (ST), spectral edge frequency (SEF), and median frequency (MF). It enables personalized anesthetic dosing, contributing to faster patient recovery with more efficient extubation and discharge.
Unilateral BIS Sensors: designed to capture brain signals from a single hemisphere, suitable for standard anesthesia monitoring.
Bilateral BIS Sensors: non-invasive sensors featuring Zipprep™ technology for low impedance and optimal signal acquisition. They record EEG data from both hemispheres symmetrically, enabling the detection of inter-hemispheric differences. This accuracy is particularly valuable in complex patients, including those with cardiovascular conditions, obesity, or trauma.
