Description
The EVAC V3 Suction Unit – Hersill™ is designed to connect to a vacuum source and remove subglottic secretions that accumulate above the cuff. It features:
- Aluminum body with polycarbonate chamber and water trap, plus safety valve.
- Adjustable suction range: 0–26 kPa (0–200 mmHg), accuracy ±5 %.
- Maximum flow: 58 L/min (intermittent: 9 L/min).
- Suction types: continuous or intermittent (recommended mode).
- Autoclavable at 121 °C.
- Compact design: 160 × 114 × 105 mm; weight: 710 g.
The system is latex-free and DEHP-free, CE-marked, and supplied in sterile single units. It provides effective airway secretion management when used with Evac™ tubes, helping prevent complications such as ventilator-associated pneumonia.
